Hall Hire

At Lepton Scout Group our Scout Hall has excellent facilities and is available for hire to visiting Scout Groups and also for functions and parties etc.

We work hard to make the hall an engaging and enjoyable place for Scouts, Leaders and visiting groups. Please bear in mind though that it is a working scout hall and as such, there will be displays on the walls and it is maintained by the volunteer leaders of the group.

We are more than happy to show any prospective hirer around to see if it is suitable for them.

Our hall comprises:

• One large hall, approx. 11m x 6m with 8 tables and 26 plastic chairs
• Large screen television with HDMI input
• A fully fitted stainless steel kitchen with:
  • gas cooker
  • fridge freezer
  • microwave, kettles and urn
  • toaster
  • crockery (dinner plates, side plates, bowls, mugs) and cutlery for 50
  • plastic cups, bowls and plates for 60
  • plastic trays, jugs and bowls
  • stainless steel cookware
• Gender neutral toilets consisting of two cubicles
• Shower room with disabled toilet
• Outside grassed and fenced area, 29m x 15m

The rate for hiring the hall for a private function is: 

• £10 per hour for parents of those children attending 35th Lepton Scout Group.
• £15 per hour for non-member.

MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD IS  2.5 HOURS (£37.50).

The rate for hiring the hall for overnight stays is: 

• £2.50 per person per night for members of scouting group.
• £5.00 per person per for non-scouting groups.
